Update to Florida's Unemployment Fiasco

I woke up to a text message this morning from my friend in Florida telling me that his status has been changed from “Pending” to “Eligible.”

He filed on 3/21. He was approved on 4/27. Thirty-Seven (37) days.

I had him write letters to his Florida State Representatives … and while he hasn’t received any word back from them, writing those letters every day was cathartic for him.

Let’s see if he gets the full $825 vs the $225 that he gets (federal vs state+federal).

Only time will tell…
