Upgrading the Firmware on your AR-705S

Are you getting a failed Verification when upgrading the firmware on your AR-705S?

After reading one too many tutorials on the web, I finally figured out what I needed to do:

1.) Download the following files:

https://fw.gl-inet.com/firmware/ar750s/release/openwrt-ar750s-3.105.tar (3.105)
https://fw.gl-inet.com/firmware/ar750s/release/openwrt-ar750s-3.203-0701.tar (3.203)

You’ll need to go to your admin Interface for the router, and then upload your file to the router. First, do the 3.105, keeping your settings. Once your router reboots, you can then do the 3.203 upgrade. Once that’s completed, you’re golden.

If you attempt to go straight to 3.203, your upgrades will fail due to the firmware not being signed correctly. 3.105 Includes a patch to fix the key situation that caused the firmware upgrades to fail In the first place.
